Okay folks,
So I should start by saying my life is incredible right now. I feel so blessed, and I could not ask for anything else.
First, my job....or jobs...
I am currently holding three jobs. I work two retail jobs and I just took on a new job in my career field. I am an EDITOR. I work for Salmon Creek United Methodist Church. My official title is Coordinator of Communications, but in short, I'm an editor. I started working here last week, and boy has it been fun. I am responsible for two weekly publications, as well as a monthly newsletter, and website management. If it's written, most likely I see it.
The first day I started I was a little intimidated, I won't lie. I had a ton going on, and it was stressful starting a new job. But, since then, I have been learning to manage my tasks, and set up my days so I am successful. I have a really big girl job. I schedule meetings and communicate with all the departments and ministries in the church.
This job is the perfect starting position for getting ahead in my career. I feel so blessed that I am barely 21 and yet I am working in the field that I love with the kind of people who really want to see me succeed. .
Though my life is pretty much all work right now, I am doing well in other aspects as well. I am healthy, happy, and ready to take on the world.
